Interview: Wardrobe Wednesday

Hi everyone, Happy Wednesday!!
I hope you all are having an amazing week. I think it’s safe to say that networking is everything in this day and age! I can’t stress how important networking has been for myself within my career and personal life. With all this being said, I found a really cool fashion blogger that resides in Dallas, TX. I got a chance to chitchat with Ms. Amy about her top fashion pieces and brands for the spring and what makes her an awesome style consultant. Make sure you check out her website below, she lists her top places to eat, shop, etc. in Dallas! Kick up your feet, relax, and grab some wine because its Wine down Wednesday! Enjoy.

CC: Hi Amy! Tell us a little bit about what you do?
Amy: “I am a fashion blogger & style consultant”

CC: How would you describe your personal style? And what does style mean to you?
Amy: “Feminine & classic. Style is a way to talk without saying anything at all.”

CC: Summer is around the corner and of course the weather here in Dallas is way too bipolar LOL, what are your top 5 trends for spring/summer?
1. Lady like dresses
2. Prints
3. Jeans (long now, short later)
4. White blouse
5. Converse

CC: Top 5 retailers, brands, or designers?
1. Zara
2. Neiman Marcus
3. Valentino (I don't own much but I treasure the pieces I do have!)
4. The Outnet (I love a good deal)
5. Gap (great for basics)

CC: Fashion has a price tag, style doesn't. Are you into mixing and matching different price points to achieve a certain look?
Amy: “Absolutely. I always mix high and low fashion it's the easiest and most cost effective way to look expensive without breaking the bank!”

CC: What made you offer so many cool and fun services to your clients?
Amy: “I wanted to work with a variety of people and every client has a different need. Some need help packing for up and coming trips, others need help letting go of clothing they have had for way to long! Needless to say, I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve so my clients really appreciate my ability to do different things.”

CC: What separates you from other stylist/ wardrobe consultants?
Amy: “My ability to do my job in my sweats…aka online”

CC: Love it LOL! Lastly, The Prevailing Effect is someone who has prevailed and overcame many obstacles in life to get where they are today. Do you consider yourself a "Prevailing Effect"?

Amy: “Absolutely. I think everyone has trials and tribulations…no one would be where they are today if it weren't for something that happened to them in the past (good or bad!)”

  1. Nice interview!

  2. Nice dress, I actually ordered a dress from a famous designer’s bridal collection as well for double the price and returned it immediately because the material felt so cheap compared to the my other one.
